In episode 1, I interview Christendom Curriculum creator, Chad Newsom, who describes his homeschool courses as “pro-West, anti-social justice, anti-multicultural, and anti-globalist.”
Download this podcast. Or listen to it on YouTube.
Update, August 2020: I talked again with Newsom for my 16th episode. You can check it out here.

Nice job on your first podcast. Congratulations on getting that ship launched. Great guest as well for the maiden voyage. Bravo!
Not sure whether I’ve mentioned this to you before, but I have a nephew whose wife decided some months back to begin homeschooling their ten year-old son beginning next school year. She has reached out to my wife and me for helpful advice in choosing a curriculum. I’m going to have her listen to this podcast; she’ll definitely recognize in Mr. Newsom’s explanation of his curriculum content, the philosophy and methodology he utilizes, the name of Mr. Gatto and so on, much of what I’ve personally spoken with her about thus far in our conversations on the subject. Their son, our great nephew, will be attending my Geography classes along with our nine year-old daughter and our ten year-old son next year as well.
I loved hearing Mr. Newsom’s qualifications for having put this curriculum together; sounds to me very much like he and I have traveled, if not the same road, at least parallel paths.
Again, nice job. How often do you plan on doing your podcasts if you don’t mind my asking.
Mr. Morris, thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the show, as I know I certainly enjoyed the conversation.
If I can answer any questions for you or your nephew and his wife concerning The Christendom Curriculum, please let me know.
I pray this gets you some new CC members, Chad. Let me know if you see a boost in your numbers. https://media3.giphy.com/media/GCS0O1twwTnQ4/giphy.gif
Thanks so much!
Will do, sir. Thanks. You’ll be hearing from someone or other in the Morris clan shortly, I’m sure. Eldest son called yesterday evening couple of hours after I sent him the link to your website. I won’t bore you with all the gory details of the conversation that ensued, but will just say that he and his wife are very impressed with the curriculum as you explain it at the site. Asked whether he’d listened to the podcast as well, and he answered “what podcast?” Oops! Forgot to send him a link to that. I sent it to him after we got off the phone, however. He hasn’t gotten back to me on that as yet, but I expect to hear from him sometime later on today. I have sent these links to several of our older group of kids and extended family members. Most of whom either already homeschool their kids, or will be homeschooling theirs when they get a little older. Even I plan to purchase the curriculum, and I’m an ‘old hand’ that this homeschooling guff. 🙂
I am most grateful for your support. Indeed, your son joined today. It is always so encouraging to meet new people who share the same unpopular but vitally needed values! Further, I see in your family a picture of what we hope for, which is a multi-generational usefulness for The Christendom Curriculum.
Thanks a million, Terry. I’m so glad you listened and liked it. Chad was such an easy interview, but it feels good to start out on the right foot. I hope your nephew’s wife finds the podcast helpful. 🙂
My goal is to do at least one interview podcast a month. I already have the person in mind for the next one, which is what I’ll be working on setting up once I’m done chatting with you. Like everything, it’s a balance.
I’m really hoping that this new “diversification” will help me to monetize my site more; it’s been kinda stagnant for a while and I’m praying that this will be the key to spread the word, grow the audience, and make a few bucks. Plus, it’s fun and will offer support to folks who are doing the heavy lifting in resisting leftism. Fingers crossed for a win, win, win!
Stay tough out there, brother.
You’ll both get a boost in your numbers if I have anything to do with it. 🙂
